I’ve been looking back a lot lately, at some of the ugliest times in my life. Not out of morbid fixation, but because there is a strange beauty in those stories that now serve to give others hope. It reminds me of a bird I once saw – at first glance I believed it was horribly wounded. Turns out God simply made him that way. Seeing that truth made him suddenly beautiful to me.
That got me to thinking…
What if that which appears to have been a mistake, or a wound that can’t possibly heal, is in the process of becoming beautiful, once seen through the proper lens?
Remember this… Beautiful things come in unexpected packages. And God isn’t finished with you yet.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:11
Amen.
QUESTION: Whatever you are looking at today, how might you begin to see it differently by choosing to trust He makes everything beautiful in its time?
