Everywhere I turn I keep bumping into the Butterfly Effect, in books, movies, real life. Translated: everything you do matters. Even something as seemingly insignificant as the flutter of a butterfly wing changes the world. Little actions become big outcomes. I keep seeing evidence of its truth. And it’s got me pondering…
What if we walk through today knowing that every single thing we do will affect unknown countless others? It will.
What if we knew our prayers would change the world? They do.
What if we realized that the reason we are here is not actually about us? It’s not.
What if every day we did one simple thing for someone else? We can.
What if we understood that our actions change the world? It’s true.
What will you do with your butterfly wings today?
Amen.
Beautiful post, Joanna! I just discovered your website today through a post by your website designer, author media, and I’m so glad that I did. I’ll be returning frequently!
Beautiful website–but more than that, all that you’ve written is just wonderful. I write a blog about grief, and I’m going to link to your website from my blog. There’s so much beauty here that I want to share it (and you) with my readers!
Warmly,
Judy
Thank you Judy. I appreciate your kind words and sharing my heart and words with your readers. Just wanting to help encourage others, spread light in the darkness, and share hope in the midst of trails. Some of my greatest growth and learning came through a time or incredible grief. Bless you for your efforts to offer comfort.
