Standing on the threshold of this final week in Texas, I look back in awe and look forward with Hope. It’s been 18 months of a wild ride. So much learned. So much let go. No longer who I was I begin anew.
Called to Texas I hoped for a job with Women of Faith. Instead I was trained to hope for things I’d given up hoping for. Instead doorways opened to an even more perfect ministry. Instead I was loved by a friend, and fell in love with her entire family. I arrived poor and will depart Rich.
And for the first time in my life I face new work giddy and salivating to begin. 47 years is a whole lot of life spent wandering in the wilderness : ) But here’s the really cool part. I now stand as evidence… That it’s never too late to expect a miracle.
Like the sweet child on Christmas Eve let’s begin again.
Let’s ponder… What would you like to start expecting?
Let’s start expecting God to deliver something better instead.
I hope you’ll drop me a line and tell me what you’d like to start ‘expecting instead’.
