I lost my health and my home in my first marriage, my cats and money in the second, and my denial and possessions in what would have been my third. Thank God!!! Not proud of the track record but it’s the truth, part of how I’m standing here today, so I’m grateful. Tragic loss is VERY fertile ground.
Loss has set me free. Free!!! To do what has called across a lifetime. Free to go when and where called, travel, meet new people, experience the wonders of God’s creation, be used in the service, share Hope and Faith with those in the midst of struggle.
I truly know what it is to ‘count it all as gain’.
