I’m a farm girl at heart. I’ve often thought of myself as a tender of God’s Garden. Till the ground I’m given, plant the seeds, pluck the weeds. He breathes new life. We choose to participate (or not), get our hands dirty (or not), wade around in the fertilizer (sorry but I suspect this part’s not optional : ). New things grow. Harvest comes. There is much to share. And there is Joy.
What if life’s struggles are just compost that transforms in time into Divine Fertilizer?
Are there seeds to plant? Weeds to pull? Waiting for things to ripen?
It’s all a process that can’t be rushed and choosing to look at things from ‘the garden’ can help us be more at peace in the meantime. One day you WILL look up and discover you’re standing in your very own Garden of Eden. Amen.

My very own garden of Eden. I love this. Thank you for this reminder, it came at the perfect time 🙂
And the weeding must be done tenderly so you don't rip out good plants, too. Great article and gives me much to think about.
Thanks! I'm so glad that my compost is helping to fertilize other gardens : )
