I think I love fall so much because it so starkly reminds us of the cycles inherent in life. That colors blaze most brightly right before they fade. That death is necessary for new life. That seasons of darkness and rest are part of birthing something new. That spring always comes but never as soon as we want. That growth and harvest and death are all part of it. That weeds happen.
Each change of season teaches us to appreciate the others so much more.
There is a Bigger Plan than we can always understand. And for that I am grateful.
Amen.
