How often we forget to delight in the simple surprises along the way. Those little miracles that offer moments of joy. A sweet bouquet from hands that love. A stray kitten at the door. An unexpected invitation. A message on the page. Waffles for dessert. A nap because we can.
Let’s not move so quickly by, we miss the joy at hand. May they stop us in our tracks.
The only way to be truly blessed is to take the time to notice.
May we relish the moments of the simple surprise. For that which we appreciate has a way of multiplying. And we all could use more delight.
