For over 20 years of my adult life, my work required me to wear a suit. And today, I had the privilege of beginning my second summer of driving grain truck in harvest. And I am loving it. God worked so many miracles through it last year that I can hardly wait to see what He has up His sleeve this time around.
Over the years, I’ve learned that God often blesses us most through a change of scenery. So I try to go more willingly now.
Each place I didn’t want to go, never planned to go, or swore I’d never go, He has taken me there. And in the end, no matter how difficult the journey was, I was incredibly blessed.
So if you feel like you are being pressed today, to go someplace you do not want to go, consider this….
Your loving Father desires to bless you. But it just may require a change of scenery.
Be willing.
Amen.
…go to the place the LORD your God will choose. Deuteronomy 14:25 NIV
